Fractal is an abstract representation of the Great Circle of life. It is a public kinetic installation inspired by David Roy and Jennifer Townley.
This is has been designed for a therapeutic and playful experience. Fractal uses sacred geometry and generative patterns to create complex forms from simple shapes.
Each circular piece represents fractals of a harmonious system (The Circle of Life). Layered against each, they create depth and longitude, similar to the forming of a wave. Fractal is designed to be placed in a dark area, specifically for festival.
Made with precision laser cutting technology fractal uses traditional material (wood) and modern technology (UV lighting). Creating an interesting collaboration between old practices in sculptures and the new.
